WHO THE HECK IS PHIL McANDREW?
Phil McAndrew is an award-winning illustrator and cartoonist who has spent most of his life in Syracuse, NY. After being awarded the portfolio-based four-year visual art scholarship, he attended and graduated from Daemen College with a BFA in Illustration. At the age of 22 he won the 2006 Syracuse Press Club Professional Recognition Award for best art illustration. Phil is a founding member of Found Hat Press, a collective of talented young illustrators and cartoonists. He has self-published a number of mini comics, contributed to a handful of anthology books, and is currently attempting to write and draw his first graphic novel. Phil enjoys snowboarding, sandwiches, playing drums (poorly), and watching loads of movies.
